“You Sure Do Have a Lot of Clothes”

…says my friend Jenni, who graciously helped me pack and sort them all day! It was worth all the eye rolling (jk Jenni!). Plus some other stuff too.  I’ve known her for over 20 years and was bawling like a baby when she drove away. This leaving thing suuuuuucks 🙁  Had a great dinner at Encuentro Cafe near Jack London in Oakland with D, very delicious – thanks D! Then stopped by Kristi’s to pick up a dvd and were mesmerized by her awesome view of the Oakland Inner Harbor. Didn’t know Oakland had an Inner Harbor, didja? Google it 🙂

Okay, I’m worried about people feeling left out if I don’t name you specifically but please, don’t. I will miss all of you California/West coast people more than I could ever possibly say. You have all been a part of my life for many years, some more than others, some longer than others, but all of you are amazing and wonderful friends and I love you.  I think you know that I am talking about you, yes, you.

In other moving and random news, we got a new hubcap. Found out the fan for our freezer needs replacing so that will happen next week. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Lori’s foldup desk and hoping it will come before moving day. I’ve decided to nominate Lori for the first Jewish saint as she has agreed to teach my parents how to use the Internet. A saint, I tell you.

Buster & Nikkyo are continuing to enjoy their new towers of boxes. I can’t help it, I must keep posting picture of the cats. You cat people understand. The rest of you will just have to put up with it!
